it's not your clutch making that noise bud, your trying to put a lot of horsepower through your transmission where there isnt enough torque or inertia to move you forward at the rate your throttle is asking for. all vehicles will do it if you give too many beans at low revs in the wrong gear.

The trouble with having an open mind, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it.

Does anyone know how I can quieten my clutch basket down then? Where can you get a new one from and will that sort the problem?

I know there's nothing wrong with it and it works fine but the constant noise gets on my nerves.

Best place to get a new one is here

http://www.cradleykawasaki.co.uk/

Don't go looking through the site just ring and ask for road parts they will give you a price...................it won't be cheap

Normally delivery is next day

There is no certainty that a new basket will be any quiter a complete new clutch including bearings etc might just do it but I doubt it...................live with it it's character building

Ducatis have dry clutches any noise is much much louder than a wet clutch that is enclosed
