it's not your clutch making that noise bud, your trying to put a lot of horsepower through your transmission where there isnt enough torque or inertia to move you forward at the rate your throttle is asking for. all vehicles will do it if you give too many beans at low revs in the wrong gear.hciR wrote:Does anyone else's clutch sound really rough when rolling on the throttle at really low revs? (say below 2k) with the clutch fully out.

Re: Clutch question
Does anyone know how I can quieten my clutch basket down then? Where can you get a new one from and will that sort the problem?
I know there's nothing wrong with it and it works fine but the constant noise gets on my nerves.

Re: Clutch question
Best place to get a new one is here
http://www.cradleykawasaki.co.uk/
Don't go looking through the site just ring and ask for road parts they will give you a price...................it won't be cheap
Normally delivery is next day
There is no certainty that a new basket will be any quiter a complete new clutch including bearings etc might just do it but I doubt it...................live with it it's character building

Re: Clutch question
Ducatis have dry clutches any noise is much much louder than a wet clutch that is enclosedhciR wrote:Just thank god it's not as load as those ducati's! Sound like a bag of nails.
