1to2 gear problem

Hi
I have problem going 1to2 gear 1000-4000 rpm and 10.000-14.000 rpm.
In the middle range rpm everything is OK but if bike runing higher than 10.000 bike going only in neutral I cank puting in the secound.I must slowing and interponse in 1 gear.
Any idea???

Try doing a 'clutchless' upshift, and really pull up on that lever - See if this cures the problem.

It's generally not recommended to clutchless shift from 1st to 2nd since N is inbetween.

Sounds to me like its the little ball bearing that prevents second being selected at a stand still sticking.............get in there and remove it ?

Not heard that using or not using the clutch for first to second changes ................been banging with no clutch into second from first for years with no ill effects

I just heard bolls is problem.
solutions
1- Removing balls
2- When you racing shifting 1-2 gear without clutch.

That is general problem for ZXR400

On the bike or removing engine from bike?

to remove the "neutral finder" ball bearings is an engine out and split the crankcases job afaik.

you could just try moving the gearlever a bit lower so you get more of a pull on it on upshifts, I know its an occasional problem on zxr's that this sytem sticks, but i'd hardly call it common or general.

I try shifting 1-2 on the high rpm and dasnt going without clutch
I cant racing on the 1/4 mile
I think my bike is CAFE-RACER bike
