Should this wire be connected?

As you can tell, due to the many threads i have started today, i have been fixing/breaking the project for most of the day.

I was setting the loom into the frame and getting it all routed correctly, go the cdi bolted down and plugged it in when i seen one of the wires has been cut.
Defo cut and not snapped etc.





If you need to know what CDI ill run the garage and find out.
