hi all was wondering is the back subframe on the zxr 400 L models alloy or steel thinking of ways to save some weight as there thigs are bloody heavy for the power they have

p.s has anyone got any ideas of what might look good as a rear panel the ones on ebay are way too high looks like a streetfighter and the single units look dated

its steel, simply unbolts, doesn't weigh that much though, at a guess 2 kilo, not something you'd feel as a marked improvement in performance on the road

alright cheers after some searching i found my answer anyway gonna go 600rr rear panel and modified sub frame looks great
