zxr400 race bike prep

thought i wud show u guys wot i have been up to getting the bike ready for brands this weekend, but its 2 steps forward 1 step back, :smt013 got the head gasket to do now!
cut a hole in the rad for the ram air:
had to refit the coils wanted them out of the way:
made a stubby can out of a cheap one a brought from ebay:

removed the coolant bottle and fitted a little one:
got my new 636 rear shock in:
nice big ram air box:

interesting shock, did you have to modify anything to fit it?

so you can get rid of the standard kill switch/starter and make room for a quick action throttle.

Who made the airbox and how is the fit and finish?

just right needed a small one as the quick action throttle is quick big, plus i got it cheap lst minute bid on ebay, the air box is made by Rkmd it is a reallhy good fit it has a fabric bit that sits over the inlet trumpets for easy removal the only thing is is the inlet tube is an odd shape and will have to modify my front fairing

the rear shock is a fully adjustable zxr636 b1h racing shock and with it fully adjusted up i have 5mm gap with the battry brace lol the reason it fits is coz the resorvior bit moves
