CAN YOU USE ANY ZXR400 ENGINE IN ANY YEAR BIKE?

AS PER TITLE, HAVE AN H MODEL AND LOOKING AT A 1996 MODEL ENGINE AS I CAN'T FIND ANY H ENGINES, WILL IT WORK?

prettu sure you have to turn the thermostat housing if i remember right.

Yup
Also you might need to swap the ing. rotors / swap the CDIs if they don't match.
