quickie that i really should know. but never mind. when i get me bike back together ie new barrels and gaskets etc, i torque the bolts to the specified setting. do i, and if so when, retighten the head bolts.

as i have a lovely new honed barrel coming do i HAVE to get new rings?

Check them if they're knackered then yes if not then no

I've never retightened head bolts ....................check the manual but I don't think it says anything about retighting
