I dropped my zxr on Saturday and seem to have cracked the engine cover on the left hand side?(Its the black plate that has 'ZXR' bossed on it. I'm not sure what it is called, how much they cost or where ot get a second hand one from. If anyone has an idea let me know, many thanks

Apparantly like rocking horse poo to get hold of.
I've seen a few on eBay in recent weeks though.

that will be the 'generator cover' or 'genny cover'. I think they are in the region of about 70 quid new, second hand, if you can find them could be any price since they are so difficult to get hold of.

ouchh i dropped my black and red zxr the day i paid 4 it .. i know there is zxr400l being broken in cardiff it blew the topend and every thing is ok with it ...if you want there number give me a shout

yup the genny cover and they is a rare thing some ppl hold onto a couple of spares i think.

Just rang them and they haven't got one! . I'll just have to get one off ebay i think, only problem is they look pretty ugly not the same style as the black one. Thanks anyway

ring a breakers yard then they might have one.
