How much fun are they?

Really, I just borrowed one while my 6R was in for service, and it was so much nippy fun.

Anyone seen pics of the one in MCN riders club version?

But I wouldn't swop my 600 ninja for a little 250 ninja though...

so there fun but not as fun as the 6R. althoe i wouldnt mind a try on a 2 stroke at some point

I sat on one at the London bike show, didn't feel like a sports bike atall, more like a CBR125 with a bigger engine and some more fairing (although i have never sat on a CBR lol).

not that expensive really when you sit it next to the likes of the GS500 ect.

The idea really is inner city currier/commuter bike even if they did try and make it sound sporty

They arent 2T, they are an inline parallel twin. They arent that new really, kawasaki have been selling the GPX250 (or ninja 250 in the USA) for years, i used to have one.



I think its just an overhaul of an old model.

But none the less its a step in the right direction, they just need to mae it a bit more racey!

ahhh i thought it was a 2 stroke, fluff that then stick with a 400, or 6.

thats a diffrent 250 thats a IL4 250 with a 19,000 rpm red line, there awsome fun (unlike the commuter 250's)

imo the best 250 to have if not an aprilia rs is one of these

deepends on what "best" is but id love a honda RS 250

I used to have a NSR 400. It was fantastic, very fast and great fun to ride. Sold it for next to nothing to the first caller, then got calls for the next three days telling me it was worht four times as much.

old 2 pokes are worth LOADS now! things like the RD's ect are worth loads purly for parts/engine transplants
