Need help!!!

hello there guys!!
just got a quick question my zxr400,appears to sound strange:|
i was just going through the tunnel 6th gear about 10,000 revs,then exhaust popped so eased down n it just sounds absolutely bullocks now!!!!i av no idea whats happened there but dont sound gdd!!!!!

I trust that was on a closed private road, then?
Sounds like it could be worth having a careful look over your pipework, as Baz says...

if not pipes, could be fueling or maybe electrical? backfiring, maybee running on 2?

i was wondering if it could be a plug cap, he said it sounds rough when running now and the backfire could be the intermitent spark. Possibly a coil perhaps?
