Thinkin of buyin a leather jaket when it gets bit warmer but will it stink like my textile one does, and do they have removable lining, how warm are they cause my textile is vey warm, good for winter.

my leathers are very very very cold in winter...you wont get leathers as good as textiles for cold weather

my leather jaket is fine in the cold TBH. it has a removable inner which is cool. but i think that textile is better for winter commuting

my leathers are ok with layers underneath, but the textile are by far better...even had frozen hands before but sweaty everywhere else lol...nice n toasty n dry

My Akito leather jacket is pretty windy and leaks in the shoulders. Its fine in the summer but this time of year its far too cold, solved it by wearing a waterproof overcoat. Not only am I proper warm but if it rained I stay completely dry too!

if you sweat in your gear, its gonna stink. Send it to Scrubbers Leathers n get it cleaned! they do an absolutely amazing job!

in answer to your question - how warm it is depends on what you buy. If you buy 'race leathers' they're unlikely to have any form of thermal removable lining (in my experience), purely because theyre not needed!

Ive got an arlen ness 2 piece and its quite warm (no removeable lining tho), my previous gear was hein gericke - and that was not at all warm!!

you cant generalise - shop around and see what suits you!
I personally ride in leathers in the summer and textiles in the winter. Textiles are not only warmer, but they are also generally more element proof!!

One thing did concern me though - you're only talking about a leather jacket. If you dont have it already, I would suggest buying either synthetic or leather trousers before forking out on another jacket.
