A few here were talking about the ZXR400 being great but wanting more power. This guy may well have the solution for you!

He's invented a system called Direct Exhaust Injection - it should give you all the power of a powerful turbocharger at virtually no cost! I can't see anything that could be wrong with the idea - can you???

Although I especially enjoyed his updated one where he added intercoolers to cool the exhaust gasses before it went back into the throttle bodies...

Cant get on the site, but going by that diagram he is routing the exhaust gas back into the carbs??

Isnt that just the same as a turbo except you dont have the turbine? Mixing exhaust gasses with fuel? hmmmmmmmm....

surely the exhaust gasses are lacking in oxygen...?

yup an you need oxygen to combust so you would need a way to feed it.

i thought a turbo just bolts onto the exhaust and the turbine spins speeding up the exhaust gases leaving the engine.

in a fashion yes but its not quite as simple as that.

if im correct i do believe, that a turbo takes exhaust gases which turns the turbine which then pushes air into the engine, this works in wats called a turbo range ( usually 2500rpm to about 3500-4000rpm ). and a supercharger works immediatly because it draws energy of the engine 2 push more air into the engine, but work immediatly as soon as u switch the engine on 2 the moment u switch it off. please correct me im rong

Just like the electric turbos for the two strokes and NOS boost bottles

that does make sense actually cos my wife's impreza's turbo kicks in from around 3k rpm - anything below that and u may aswell be driving a milk float
