Hello, yeah i dont have much money to spend about 1k lol, seen a car i like infact its one ive wanted for awhile and due to high milage its about 1k cheaper than others with half the milage so with that said is a 140000 hundred and fourty thousand miles too much ?, but this is in regards to a 2.5 v6 engine, its got full mot to next summer and 11 service stamps, so seems maintained probably company car i dunno thats a guess, any opinions it is a cheap car at the end of the day and i guess it aint too much to lose aslong as everythings mechanically sound, so guys opinions please, i know for a deisel that be nothing but a petrol v6 ? is it ok,

thanks,

Rob

deepends on the car really, if its a highly sprung engine then yes it is alot of miles, thus why masters celica has done so many miles

well theres 2 cars same price, one is a sports version with a body kit 140k miles

the other same engine same colour lol, but is the luxury version full leather upholstery etc elec everything, but no sports kit and has 100k miles on the clock and is also 2 years older, but these cars would of cost loads when new im guessing up there 15k plus i dunno, what i need to find out i guess is if the luxury model is using traction control, surely it should if its using same engine,

i agree there are some lovely examples around at the mo with slightly less milage but getting above 1500 pound and closer to 2000 pound on some examples, its just for 1000 pound, it looks nice its only 8 years old just highish mileage, but does have near full mot, so cant be too bad

sounds ok should be good as long as its been looked after but bear in mind parts might be expensive for the top sports specs..

anyone know a good place that makes SS car exhaust systems. my back an middle have gone, went to kwik fit the weekend £850 for the new parts an fitting. so im thinkin i could have a SS exhaust made for a fraction of that plus that will add to bhp.

whats wrong with a mondeo, ive been in different models ranging from the early years to most recent, and they all drive nice, ive mostly been a passenger but its always been a comfy ride, the mondeo has what i want a fair bit of performance but its a family saloon, and i have a family and a house now it will suite me perfectly i reckon,

i dont know why people bash mondeos if i could afford one id go get me a new one but wow lol there abit OTT on price lol, may consider i nice looking 04 model in a couple of years when there only a couple of thousand pounds, but untill then i fancy an st24, just think of the bass speakers and shopping u can fit in its boot !, lol haha
