i have a micron race system on my bike and ever since i fitted it i have had alot of trouble sealing it when removed? i have used new gasgets every time but it stil blows? i have cleaned the two meeting faces?
any1 else had this problem?

I have the same exhaust never had any gasket probs though.

When you fit the gaskets are they slightly too large to fit in the head? Mine where (think they where part cg22 or something) and I had to push them in with a big socket, then tighten the exhaust up.

You can always smear it all in exhaust sealer if nout else works.

no mine were a bit smaller they kept falling out! my kawasaki dealer sold me to different types and both didnt work? all try some sealer! have u gto the part number of the gasgets u use! thanks for the help

I got mine from sandy bike spares, he sells the pattern downpipes on ebay. Just ring up and ask for zxr400 exhaust gaskets.

found my problem 2 of my down pipes are bent im hopefully going to straighten them out at work on tuesday they are only a little bent but enough for them not to seal! i mite be on the look out for some cheap down pipes soon thou lol
