noisey engine

rode my bike to work yesterday and when i had come off the motor way and let the bike idle it sounded like somethin metal was lose inside the engine? the bike sounds perfect throu the whole rev range above 2000! the noise does not change when the clutch is pulled in , as it not the normal gearbox rattle? any ideas wot it needs? :smt017

Bloody hell your work is generous! Well let me know if you want me to listen when you get it back in frame. Sounds like it just might be the tensioner if its noisy below 2K.

i know lol! i have found the problem my cam chain needs replacing as it has stretched and the tensoineer will not adjust it any more! so it was flapping around and the tensoiner was toucjing the case
