Ever wondered what a grey import looked like before it was exported?

1995 L5 bike, one previous owner who only managed to get 40,000km on the clock in 12 years (nob), everything stock apart from Nassert-RR full exhaust system by Beet Japan.

Probably been spilled/dropped at low speed by the previous owner as the fairing is cracked at the bottom and the levers are scuffed, but the frame is good.

Japanese speed limits: 25mph on B-roads, 31mph on A-roads, 63mph on motorways (which only have two lanes and no emergency lane). Now imagine riding a ZXR within those limits - risky business indeed. Especially considering that all the motorways have tolls and I never use em.

Noise is not a problem over here, with almost no noise pollution laws and no apparent will on the part of the police to enforce the ones which do exist. Nassert-RR can pipes out a healthy 99dB And I'm one of the quietest on the roads I think the new legal limit is 94dB...!

All bikes and cars limited to 113mph by law... :smt013

That is really nice mate, hard to believe thats done about 25K miles. Just goes to show cos they dont have to lay salt down over there bikes looks a hell of alot better.

Yeah, I guess it must have been garaged. I put a lot of work into sprucing it up - bought it for only a grand, so the dealer didn't bother to clean it up himself - lazy sod. Got the chain from black to gold yesterday - my hands look like I dipped them in a vat of tar.

You're right about the salt, the Japanese just use studless tyres or snow chains when it gets icy. I think chains are kinda out of the question for the Kwak though Roll on winter
