Joined last week. Didnt notice this welcome section, sorry. Anyway bought a ZXR400 two weeks ago for £200 yes £200

needing exhaust downpipes and rear brake un seizeing. These jobs done i taxed and mot,d it and "what a fantastic bike". I was blown away by firstly how comfortable it is and also how powerful it is. the ZXR now shares my garage with a Suzuki GSXR600, GS500, GT250X7, the daughters GPZ500S, and a Kawasaki SXI 750 jet ski. The GS500 is now for sale as my garage is full.
Anyway great site (without which i wouldnt have got an exhaust so easily)
and hello again.

Iv managed to train my butt to cope for just over 100 miles... i can ride to about 150 on a tank (without using reserve) but my butt has given up well before that so i tend to kill two birds with one stone and stop for petrol and let my bum come back to life...
any suggestions on how to make it more comfy long distance?! i cant use anything crazy like a cushion on the seat cos i can only just touch the floor on tip toes anyway!!!
i dont hugely mind, i rarely do long distance... but i agree!!! ouch1!!!!
