Greetings

Post by Zafac »

Fellow 2 wheel enthusiasts, I bid thee hello
My name is Dame, I'm a 34 year old firefighter from Macedonia. As a part time second job, ,I have a small shop for replacing and balancing moto tyres. Over the years I have been fortunate enough to be able to afford treatment for my 2 wheel sickness - buying and restoring old motorcycles. The latest project I acquired last summer is a zxr400 L. Terrible state cosmetically, but it has a solid engine and clean title, the papers are in order which is a miracle in the balkans.
I got on here to share the project and ask for technical help. It is a rare bike for this region and parts are scarse.
It has a zzr front fairing, but I managed to find an original fairing. I have sourced some parts and the "to do" list just keeps growing. Some work has already been done on it before. I can see that the head has been off at some point. Also, I will need to reseal the water pump. I can only find seal kits for the zzr400. They look the same as far as I can tell. I will open a thread & will try and document my progress with pictures.
