Do Japanese imports need different headlight bulbs?

Just looking on wemoto as I need a new headlight bulb for my Japanese import L3.
There is one named "bulb headlight" for £2.98 which is described as "H4 P43T 12V 60/55W main beam and dipped beam twin element"
And there's one named "bulb headlight for Japanese market bikes" for £20.03 which is described as "Japanese market halogen 60/35W"
Will the £2.98 bulb work in my bike?

Will possibly work but Kawasaki made the bulbs awkward with little slots cut out etc so you may find that a problem

Cheers

I think I'll give it a go, if it doesn't work then I've only lost a couple of quid...

you will need to remove 2 of the tangs, and then cut a slot gap in the LHS of the light bulb carrier for it to fit.
i fitted them to mine...the light was "bluer", but dimmer IMO.
the only way to get brighter lights is a HID kit.

I modified my light to take the cheaper bulbs, think I might buy a new light with the proper bulbs, next time I'll just get the proper ones, unless anyone finds aftermarket ones which fit properly without grinding away part of the light
