Hi i have a small oil leak from my cam chain tensioner, it looks as though its leaking from the o ring so i want to remove the tensioner, replace the o ring and reset the tensioner correctly.
I have the new style tensioner with the big bolt in the middle, i have read how to reset the tensioner but it says something about putting a small peice of wire through a hole in the tensioner. Is this for the old style cam chain tensioner ?
What is the correct procedure for removing and reftting the tensioner without damaging anything, I am unsure if i want to attempt this myself but il never learn how to if i dont
so in what order do i remove the bolts and how do i reset the tensioner correctly ? Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thank you

Re: refitting new style cam chain tensioner
That only normally only applies to the old stlye tensioner. the new one normally just undo the large centre bolt . and then the small holding bolts, fitting is fit holding bolts and then large bolt make sure you have new soft washer for large bolt this only a outline for you
