Hello everyone. I'm new to the forum and new to zxr 400s but have recently bought an L5 which I'm trying to prep for track use.

Having just got in running I've discovered a crack in one of the carb float bowls. Is there any way of fixing this? I'm struggling to find a replacement part without buying a whole new set.

Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

Could try fixing it by melting the plastic with a soldering iron??? Otherwise buy a 2nd hand set and scavenge it for spares.

Thanks for reply. I've found a set of carbs on ebay off a 2000 model, just hoping they're there same fittings.
