Selling up my ZXR...

Post by sjonesuk »

Hey guys...

After a few months of riding to work on my ZXR, I've decided (whether you all hate me for this or not) to sell up my beauty for something more upright.

The real trouble is, I've got a bad back, and the constant 'crouch position' does me no good at all!

So I'm just about to stick it on AutoTrader (unless anyone is interested?) and just wondered what you all thought I should price it at??

There are a few pictures here... It's a 400 (obviously), 1998 (S-reg) with 30,000 miles on the clock. One whole year of tax and about 9 months MOT. Oh, and it's a stunning maroon colour! Downsides are that the tank is a slightly different colour to the rest of the bike and it has been dropped at some point in its history, so there's some hefty scratching down the left side (not affecting the fairing) and on the left handlebar and clutch handle.

Thanks!

id have thought £1500 is a reasonable price, mine was 36k miles, 1994 for £1200, but a bit more scuffed than yours...this was september last year.

Thanks. I'll probably knock it up a bit more than that and leave it open to offers then. Less miles, 4 years younger and as you say, less scuffs, that'll probably help out the pricing considerably! =)
