:smt010 been riding my zxr400 since beginning of may and he has never stepped a foot out of line....until yesterday! he started up first time when i got him out in the mornin, got to where i was going, turned him off, went back to him 20mins later and nothing happened when i turned the ignition on, no lights no nothing, played with the key and few switches and everything lit up, went to start him and all the lights just went off everytime i pressed the starter button, after a bit of playing with the key and kill switch and turning the headlights off he fired up but was very spluttery and sounded like he was gonna just cut out. sat and just tickled the throttle for a minute and it was alright after that, i then went to work, left it for 4 hours came back and he started first time no issues, met a pal, went for a ride and then the real issues started! while i was riding it kept on holding back, while the throttle was open it was sort of fighting to carry on running and then just stopped doing it and carried on riding smooth like nothing was wrong with it! the rev counter was also bouncing allover the show like something demented! all through the day after this it kept on struggling starting and spluttering until it back fired(scared the libing daylights outta me) n then firing off like nothing was wrong. now the bloody thing won't start at all, headlights aren't working at all, horn won't work, the control panel is lighting up when i put the ignition on but only when the headlight switch is in the off position, when it is in the on position nothing on the bike works at all, but still when i press the starter button all the lights go off and it doesn't do anything! if anybody has had issues like this or knows what may be up please please let me know if you know of any possible fixes for it coz the sun is shining and i am desperate to get him outta for a good blast in the hills! :excited
