few issues

Recently my bike has been cutting out randomly , for example when stopping at traffic lights etc , its then hard to start again. Think it could do with a new battery to be honest , could this be a cause?. Also it sometimes crunches and wont go into second on occasion any ideas?

from my experience it was a mis fire due to dirty fuel and the carb needed cleaning to fix it, but that was a different bike so might not be the same..

i would say worn selector thingy but again im not sure...

run a few tanks of premium fuel in there, the expensive stuff. it will help clean out some gunk and never does any harm.
adjust your clutch properly.
