So today I took a hold of the reigns again and got some of my normal routines done - of course one of them is changing zorsts
I had seen this coming up and ended up bidding against an overseas buyer - wether they knew what they were bidding on or were looking for a cheap system I dont know but you should have gone more
I know the maker of this company and their pedigree so this was on my buy list - the next one will be too !
Some of you know about BEET but PS-K (Pro Spec Kawasaki) are the dark horse only known in Japan. Had no idea they had made a system for the ZXR but do know all they ever race is Kawasakis

So, it arrived a while back and sat in its box , I had looked at it and headers are exact same as BEET but then it changes - it has a double link pipe , can is similar to BEET but also close to the KRT FIII system. Looking like it is made up of the best of both worlds

Thinking these headers look identical I just remove the collector link pipe from my BEET and hey presto the PS-K slides right on tight
, hook up the mid section and end can and get it bolted and springed up.Start bike up and what a gorgeous deep burble it has
Next, test drive - the bit I like
Initially while cold responce is slugish although there is a noticeable grunt , mmmmm temp' gets up and "rock n roll " goes like a scolded cat
I had just been saying to Neosophist that the FCRs were needing some Winter fettling
It's the BEET , the settings I have are for the KRT FIII system and this PS-K loves them 
An indicated 110mph in 3rd gear on the redline - well chuffed with that and from 6K it pulls like a fookin train , below that its no slouch - nice bit of grunt.
So here is what I think, my assumption it would join the best of both systems is right on the money. The FIII always gave me a feeling of torque / grunt and with my jettting showed perfect fueling on the dyno , the BEET shows a lack of this but engine revs up real quick looking for top end , my jetting might require bigger MJs usually when peak power tails off so quickly larger mains raises that defeciancey but I do read some lean off more
My TMR-MJNs had same problem and I jetted up to 160 mains - you dont even go this big in 1200s However my MAJs also go huge to 200 or there abouts - the TMRs also showed near perfect fueling on the dyno and the tuners were blown away!Anyhoo, back to the pipe - it has a longer diffuser plate than the BEET but doesn't mimick the double diffuser the FIII has - this could be a get around as the BEET & PSK-K use header balancers that the FIII doesn't, I know these clean the the header of excess fuel allowing higher BHP.
All in a fantastic system - my only problem is I now feel my BEET needs to sit in the cupboard
Great I can use the Ti headers on this mild steel system with Alloy can but when you feel a shift in performance like this it cant be ignored Needs renovation and a new sleeve on can but I dont mins that
Would hate to think how much to have the rest of it made in Ti but my gawd would I ever love too
