Ive just decided to fit a K & N air filter its just arrived and I cant help but notice that there is no holes in the top of the plasitc cover for the attaching screws for the cage like there is on the standard yellow foam one. how will this fit?? my idea is to make holes in the top of the K&N so it will attach securly.

Is this right or is there another way to get it to fit?

I'd imagine that mister K or mister N desigined their filter so that you dont need to put holes in it.

Did it come with fitting instructions?
Try looking on their website for guidance ?

I'll go look at mine tomorrow if you want

no instructions in box or on website... I ve found an old post on here saying that you split the air bix remove the metal mesh and the K & N goes in there instead of the mesh and the yellow sponge
