my race bike is still pissing about now it will start and run fine for 5 mins then die on me and not start at all till i leave it for ten mins any ideas?

got any fuel in it believe me we have all done it!

checked the fuel pump relay? mine used to do this, turned out the relay was knackered, the pump was pumping fuel into the carbs and filling them up fine on the starter button but once the bike was started would stop pumping, then when the fuel in the carbs ran out it would cut out

We had a similar problem at pembrey last weekend, the bike would start fine, do five laps and then the engine whent flat wouldnt rev, we thought it was a fuel starvation problem. Checked the tank vents, changed the fuel pipes, changed the fuel pump still exactly the same. the bike ran fine in the pits after the race, we borrowed some ignition coils from someone for the last race and the bike ran perfectly for the full eight laps, Proper Job.

I am using the coil stick mod mite try the old coils I am change the fuel pump relay 2nite then the coils see wot happens x
