Removing fuel tank

Just woundering the exact method of removing my fuel tank? I need to get to the ignition plug end to replace it and aparently this is under the tank, i see how it can be done by removing the bolts holding it down under the rider seat but i dont wanna wreck anything... any tips or is there a thred already instructing this ?
Sorry to be a pest, been tryin to get my mittens on a haynes manual but from what i have read they dont do them :smt017 .... anyways any info will be great.

when removing the tank i personally remove the rear fairings so you can just lift the tank up and turn it round so you dont have to disconnect the fuel lines, as you say just remove drivers seat and undo bolts and remove tank cover with 'hoover' tubes and undo the two bolts underneath and thats it off it comes.

Cheers mate, all came off no problems, thankgod i maneged to remove the ignition without having to dig around the nest of cables around the air box :smt005
