Welcome to the forum Mick :smt006
I do believe there is a thread kicking round regarding making restrictor washers. Lets see some pics when you get the bike

welcome to the forum mr 6pot.

As per soil, there is a thread with washer dimensions, and you dont need a certificate either. ;)

She's a beauty mate, I have exactly the same model but mine has a full micron system and only cost me £720. It's just a shame it turned out to be a mess inside, I've spent nearly £400 on new parts already, you've got yourself a proper bargain there, congrats :smt001

Do these things really flood that easy , went to start it this morning and hit the throttle as i hit the starter and it was all over flooded :smt010 , had to strip and put new plugs in :smt012 (rarther than clean the others) then she fired right up :excited , both the guy i brought it off and the local kawasaki garage stated not to twist the trottle from a very cold start :smt018 and to just let the bike start.

To be honest i dont think ive ever flooded a bike starting it , use the choke from cold ,need the tinniest bit of throttle and you should be away , handfulls of throttle aint gonna start it ,but changing the plugs wont do any harm

never use the throttle to start a bike always the choke, and first thing i'd do if you've just bought it is put new plugs in.
