Just wanted to check what gearing people race ZXR's with (L models) round Oulton.....and presumably you use exactly the same at anglesey?
Also, what pressures are you using? And what tyre brands does that go with.......cold pressures if poss???
Cheers,
Jim lad

Re: gearing for oulton
I've not done Anglesey yet, but used 14/45 last year at Oulton. However, not many people tend to agree with the gearing I use at most tracks, so you'll get different view, no doubt. Worked ok for me though - got me around in about 1:58.
Tyres: Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa. Cold 30 front, 28 rear.

Re: gearing for oulton
I had 14/48 on, but, I had just had the engine built with heavier pistons and had to restrict revs to 15,200, by the end of the day I was hitting the limiter in a few places, meaning I should have used another gear for a few yards in certain places and as you are leant over up clay hill towards Druids I was on the limiter for quite a bit in top, that was good for 1.51's. So, with a higher rev limit I would suggest that gearing would be fine, otherwise 14/46 with say a 15,000 limit if your doing those sort of lap times.
I was using Michelin Power Ones (160 rear), 30f 29r cold pressures.
I haven't done Anglesey so can't help I'm afraid.
Good Luck
