There seems to be more and more members appearing that are racing the ZXR400 so i've created a special section just for you to show off results, discuss meets etc etc.

micron downpipes

HELLO FELLAS,I GOT these downpipes today,i was told they ae micron,they came off a h model,the diameter of the down pipes is the same as stock ones,and the end pipe is also same diameter?though he did have a micron can there and it did fit the end of the pipe pefrectly, but i have my doughts as it is more or less the same as the stock ones?anyone have any ideas?

Doesn't look like a Micron at all tbh, IRRC the Micron hasn't got link pipes. It looks more like the BEET I used to have.

BEET?????JESUS,cool ,i was convinced they were stock coppies,but what about all the diameters being the same?

Not sure on diameter's but IRRC stock pipes are 4-2-1, here's some pics of a BEET for you to compare :)

they are identical apart from the fittings that go into the head,my washers ,im not sure what you call them,tey are all one piece at the top,the only loose thing is what the bolts go through,apart from that the bends ar identical ,everything else,i brought them in my sitting room to compare,they have an inside 47 mm inside diameter at the end ,where you bolt on the can.same as stock.thanks for the pics,i went to a lot of trouble today to get these. biggrin

these are pics i found of a beet off a cbr 400,they look identical to yours the only difference in mine are the spacers are not loose,their one piece and dont slide up and down the pipes,i now have myself convinced i have a beet system!!

That's wicked mate :D

If not BEET they might be copies as I know a few companies in england make copies a little cheaper than genuine ones. But whatever the case they're still top bits of kit and I bet you're well chuffed :)

im buzzin,i paid 130 euro,thinkin they were micron,i would never be able to afford a beet system,delighted i am :excited

hello fellas,ya know that set of pipes i posted pictures of,i know where there is another set,and they are very cheap also,their identicle,but its on an l model bike and again it has a micron can on the end?? :smt013
im confused would these be micron,cause my set had a micron can also.and not beet?? they are identical to beet but its kind of wierd the way they both have micron end cans?

no, it's not a micron. microns don't have the pipes linking the headers, they are 4-2-1 and have them between when it goes into 2 and the diameter is massive

you say you no there is another set like this for sale...where abouts im after some aftermarket downpipes for my L model.

i do,but i want to make sure they are beet before i go spending money i dont have,if i get them i will stick them on ebay.but kind of want to make sure fist,i dont want to get stuck with 2 sets of something that i thought was something else,

hi i have those downpipes ,their beet,in very good condition,just the down pipes ,so im open to offers,the highest bidder,i was going to put them on ebay but i said id stick them on here first.identical to the ones in the previous pics,thanks.
