If the cam chain rattle clears after say 3K revs - you could remove the drift in the auto tensioner and file the nose off it allowing it to slide a few 'mm' more :smt002 If it is rattly all the way through, then for a quick fix - file the drift and also place a 2mm ball bearing at the head of the 1st tensioner spring. This will increase the pressure applied to the trailing blade and shut it up for a while!

Restriction. How about shimming your carb tops and stopping the throttle valves from fully opening? Once you get it about 3/4 opening get the bike dynoyed to show it has restricted power - sorted!!

Insurance. Difficult one !! Get third party only just now and build your discount up.

Tax. Think you can still declare the bike as not being used on a public roads but will be parked on a public thourghway so need it to be taxed. You have to apply directly to the Tax office.

I thought a Dyno print out was sufficient - photocopy and send original to your insurers ??? Just make sure your name address and bike reg are on the print out.

Oh, also get the Dyno operator to cetify that the print out is true and correct to the date of the run.

To further that post, im sure the fixing points are the same as the fork bottom seem to be the same on the L and H.
