sounds like the problem i had, was a blown rectifier - got a new battery at first, still had problems, got an optimate to charge it, started fine, then would die at traffic lights etc... and would have to bump.

replaced rectifier - not had a problem since !

ok orderd a rectifer thursday. went out today (took jump leads with me ) with my dad and all his mates.

done 200+ miles of trashing the butt of it trying to keep up with R1's and tl1000s/r oh and playing with a vfr400

and not 1 problem other than reunnign out of fuel HAHAHA 1/2 mile from petrol station. but some dude pulled over and had petrol for his mower in the boot >< so now the bike smells of 2 stroke w00t and make a puff off smoke when you nail it.
