Thanks. I hope this will end in a "new" ZXR400 here. It is kind of strange, but the guy that first replied and then went into "hiding" sent me an email 40 minutes ago. But I will go for the firm instead.

It is easier to get going with the money transfer and everything. Hopefully I get a reply tomorrow and I can see if I have people that can check it out for me.

and when you get the smoked windscreen i say it will be very strange lol... im thinking a mini windscreen will look tidy though.

I hope so. Things are moving super slow though. As I am far away I have to use email to ask questions. The questions are the normal kind. I have used Yahoo babelfish to translate it to german so it is readable for them.

The questions are this:

Servicehistory. Any more pictures. When can they have it ready with 65ps as it is 34ps now. Faxnumber as the firm which will come and get it need that as they will send a fax to them. They need to get some export papers ready. The IBAN number so I could transfer money to them. A suggestion how we do it with the contract between them and me. I have not said I take the bike yet. But I am pretty sure I will buy it.

The same questions I would like to get an answer to if I was there checking the bike out myself.

I hope I am able to get all things going so I could have the firm go and get the bike late next week. I could get a ZX6R for the money I will pay for this. But that is not the point. I want one. And it will bring me more joy getting what I really want. And is not smart to get anything that is superquick. I have money to buy myself a tricked out ZX10R with turbo. But that is not smart. And I guess it is time to be smart.

And I think I saw a reply on my suggestion to a smoked screen. It got deleted. I do not know if I will get a smoked screen. I plan to keep the bike for a long time as it is not smart to get anything that goes any faster. So I have some plans on tricking it out with things to make it "fresh" from time to time. Just to not get bored.



Maybe I will buy that one. Just to have some fun. LED taillight will be bought. I have LED taillights on there way from USA now for my Honda NSX.

Finally things are moving I think. I have almost said to the firm that I will buy the bike.

He called me last monday and said that he would send med more pictures and also servicehistory. I heard nothing. I sent a sms to the cellphone number monday. Still nothing. Now I snapped and called them. Got to talk with the guy.

They have had mailproblems. But he would try to send some pictures my way today. I also asked about servicehistory and also any info he has on the bike. I guess there is not that much servicehistory as the bike only has about 14.000km which is about 8700 miles.

He said he would call me tomorrow. I think I will go for this bike. I have no friends nearby the firm so I have no way of getting the bike checked out. But I have a good feeling. But I am taking a chance here.

I get IBAN number and stuff like that by mail. They will have it with 65ps about wednesday next week. The firm that will pick it up will maybe go and get it on next friday. I have no idea when I have the bike here with me. But the dream is still alive and closer than ever before.

Things are looking good thats for sure. I also checked on a couple of amps I am buying for my stereoproject in my Honda NSX. They will be delayed. But they will be here eventually.

The bike is in Norway. It is in/at Drammen where the "shipper" has their terminal.

A friend of mine got it yesterday. Maybe I will take a trip down to have a look next week. About 1500km south. I will get it in about 14 days and then have plates on it in 14 days and some days.

I was supposed to drive on the track with my trackbike. But I have lost the spark totally. I am at the track now. I drove a few laps yesterday. Then I blew the engine. The engine seized up. I am happy that I engaged the clutch when I did.

If I have not done that then I would have had a locked up rear wheel. Well I was supposed to stop driving on the track with the trackbike totally. Now I am considering to sell it as parts. Just have to see. I am not that botherd with it. It is only money.

I will report here when I have it with some pictures too of the ZXR. It will be a lot of fun. My track days are over. And I am back on the streets. It is actually higher risk out on the street. But I am more afraid to do mistakes on the track than on the street.

It is strange. I know. The risk is a lot higher on the street. But that is how I feel.
