i think where i live it's 2 times windier than on my way to work. oh well i will just have to ride it regardless of wind. i need to learn to filter better though. do you all go all the way to the front and just squeeze in? not use to filtering. it's not done in the good ole US of A.

It's a judgement call, really. Sometimes it's best to sit in the queue and wait - most of the time just slip to the front if it looks like there's room for you. You probably won't get shot by impatient drivers like you might in New York or Texas!

I'll ride no matter how windy it is doesnt really bother me, i just hold on :p i just ride with it rather high in the gear if im not in top gear so if u do start to get blown about u can easily get ur speed up and cut through the wind.

If its traffic lights then yea i do. At most roundabouts i will sit in the middle at the front and outrun others pulling on. However i quite often cut back in 2 or 3 cars from the fronts to avoid people who are concentrating on trying to get onto the rondabout ploughing straight into me as they pull out

Or people in the RH lane who are taking the first exit left... there's a giraffe of a sliproad onto a roundabout on my run home from work where they ALWAYS do that. It's good for practising my race starts, though!

just an update. i rode on a few really windy 30+ mph and didn't bother me much. so it's take the bike to work everyday for me...i'd rather get a 125cc and commute but they aren't much fun...
