just got back from a long ride on my 7r to clear my head

verdict: i have owned my 7r for 18mths, and tbh it still impresses and scares the toad out of me in equal measures!

i think until the bike starts to bore me i will keep it, just replacing it for a newer model seems quite wasteful, as im sure there are plenty of bikers out there who would love my 7r

im starting my company next yr, so i think until that gets off the ground and starts bringing the money in, splashin out several grand on the zx10 is quite foolish,

and i will use a newer bike as motivation to make my biz work, so if im still trading after 12mths, it will b a well done present to myself

gem

yep its kind of link a mondeo, nothing offensive, out spoken, exciting or diffrent. Its made to be acceptable by everyone rather than loved/hated by some people (ie boring). What of course honda are extramly good at. :smt016

no one will ever tell you that the TL is any of them things, infact its got the nick name the widow maker, can hardly be that boring now can it ;)

theres loads of snags with the TL's frame cracks, breaks spongy, over heating something to do with the rear spring. althoe i think it depends what model you get and everyone who rides em generally like them BUT if you compare to the mighty fireblade lol

i do like the look of the new blade its mint for my next bike it will either be a suzuki or yamaha, althoe it might be the new blade because i like the look of it so much but i wana ride the 4 main types done kwak an honda. althoe i sometimes wish i had an R6 as oppose to the CBR but either way.

if you think in mobile phone terms theres a reason why lots of ppl pick a particular model aint there. you can pick something to be different but your cutting your nose off to spite your face aint ya.

not always. bikes like mobile phones are suited to some more than others, a majority of people will require the same things from a product but a few want other features.

i never said that the blade dosnt perform well i said it was boring. It wont give you a toad your pants moment unless you do somthing stuiped. I love toad your pants moments it keeps the hart rate going.

I've riden a blade and the 600rr and both were very unexciting but still very capable bikes.

see look i get whats goin on here :smt005 you throw an insult then follow it up by a compliment lol.
but to be honest im not qualified to say that 100%, its the most exciting bike cos i aint ridden the compertition althoe i have had a go on a gsxr an found the honda to be more racy. but i would love to get my hands on a new blade i think you would get them toad your pants moments on it for sure.
the worst 1 i think would be realising you have been followed by the police chopper doin 150mph confuddled
