depends on your MOT tester, most of the criteria is open to interpretation by whoever is doing the mot and some places are real monkeys where as others use a little more commonsense. My bike is always mot'd with a race can on because the tester i use doesnt think it's worth sending me home with a fail just for a can, it wastes his time with the re-test and mine. he just asks if i have a standard can at home..
