Well im up for that fella, I keep seeing this bloke on a 750 in a red jacket, you seen him? His quite the rider, very fast. I followed him down that road to ullenall (sp) at the crossroads just by Henley in Arden. Now i keep seeing him rolling passed my house.

mate, i'm having similar problems to you. I've removed most of my noises with a camchain and tensioner replacement, but now I think I'm down to a cam chain guide to remove the knocking...and that better be it!
have you checked inside your tank? if there's rust in there you'll deffinately have to clean the carbs and re seal the tank.

I just remembered. gear change is rotten if you don't have the 'throw' of the gear selector right.
take off the connector on the gear box side and re possition it to the optimal throw possition (where it moves the most for the least effort). that sorted it for me
