I have a ER6-F and its quite nice. Very comfy, Very godo all rounder. Low seight hieght is a parralel twin. Quick too. Some bits seem a bit cheap. But you can pick up a year old one for £2500 now that can't be bad. They also do a naked version. I also had a sit on teh hyosung GT650 at the NEC and i wish i went for that. Felt a bit heavy though, heard the engine is actually made by the same people who make SV650s engine.(not suzuki )

Not too bad i bought it for £4000 so lost a bit more than i would like but what the hell.

well you would have lost around £700 as soon as you road it off the forecourt, VAT is a toad like that!

I'm told hayabusas have quite a low seat height...

Maybe it's just the R model, but that's the bike one of my ex's chose because it fit her perfectly...

But she has a 37" inside leg and is 6ft tall!!

I wouldn't have thought it would fit the bill for that reason!?

if i can handel a 1m high crosser being 5'8 i think anyone can cope, yes you cant get 2 feet flat on the ground but why do you need to? you've just got to learn to move around on the seat more

coping and being comfortable on it are two completely different things, if you arent comfortable on it you wont feel safe and that will reflect on your riding.
I'm on tippy toes with my gixxer and I know that most people wouldnt feel comfortable with it. I really struggle to move the bike around whilst sitting on it - i need to get off the bike to move it around,

you have to remember that girls do not have as much strength as guys, and when there is 170kgs leant over so you can get your foot on the ground, you struggle to get the bike back up again

BUT - the height of a bike shouldnt put you off getting what you want - as i said on a previous thread, I am after an off road bike; i'm 5'7" but i have *very* short legs. I cannot get one foot on the ground whilst still sitting on the seat with a lot of bikes, so I've just decided that I am going to have to get a longer dogbone and lower the bike a little.

There are plenty of ways of lowering bikes; custom seats, suspension lowering kits etc. Although, if you go for the latter I would strongly advise you to get this done professionally! So I would say as long as you can get your tiptoes on the ground, if you find a bike you like - get it and make sure you have a set of R&Gs fitted if you arent managing with it, get it lowered.
