dose that 05 cbr600rr seat unit go stright on plus is ther any big spaces etc...or do u have 2 make brackets 2 mount it???any 1 no

i dont think the 05 CBR rr will just fit straight on althoe it would probly fit with not much work as its about the right length

a ryt.i seen a early model rr 1 on a zxr400 b4 and look dead on and not much spaces etc... round it so myt just get it if im going for a cbr unit.

ill take the back off mine the weekend an tell how it looks with regards to length when i fit me tail tidy if you like but i rested the unit on it the weekend an it looked about the same length. might not be as deep thoe....
i think you will get the light with it too so that would look good if you manage to get it on.

given the choice i would stick a early 99/2000 R1 seat unit on it.

its gona be for a race bike m8 so ther will be no back light etc...plus i think the sub frame on my bike is a race 1 aswell as its fairly short.im just looking any thing thats different 2 the standard zxr400 race seat unit and something that will fit on and not leave big spaces around the tank,seat and rest of the sub frame etc...

should be ok then i guess. so i presume you goin for a race seat in wich case i have no clue lol. just remember you might have to sort of pull it over the frame to get it im place so if its to wide it might well snap.

Has anyone seen one with a r1 rear end, pics available?

i was gonna put one on mine, bought the rear seat and offered it up to the std subframe, its not gonna take much work to get it to fit, unfortunately i never took any pics and sold the bike before i got round to fitting it properly.

Thats the best R1 backside that yamaha ever made! Weather itll suit the zxr or not, we'll have to wait n see.
