I sense none of you are talking about racing against a car when there's oncoming traffic then? That's where bikes come into their own.

250bhp aint jack when it's sat in a que of 60mph traffic with oncoming cars.
65bhp on a ZXR400 is Godlike in these situations.

but were not talking about these conditions were talking about a straight drag strip !, no traffic just the 2 vehicles vs each other !

hey guys nice to hear this is causing such a stir completely dodging my initial question but hey who gives a flying monkeys about my annoying squek! LOL. :smt010 well i have done a practise run with my zxr and my mate was timing basically my zxr hits 64 mph just before i change to second my bike has been on a track before and has got a set of race carbs on it. the zxr was averaging 4.7 seconds 0-60 last nite raced a golf r32 and i am happy to say he walked away with his tail between his legs and so did the bmw 3 series not long after. this was from a set of traffic lights. my mate tested his 5turbo and got a laughable 6 second 0-60 time so if i can keep the zxr in its power band i cant see it being a problem this renault over the quarter of a mile drag strip. but may invest in nos just for fun.

hardley worth investing in NOS you will have to do signif engine reqs or run the risk of blowin up.
