yeah how boring having a bike that easily lifts its front wheel on the throttle, and tank splappers that happen easy at the snife of a bump that easily does 160, that has sweet handling and brilliant brakes! its Really really boring! its not what youve got - its how you ride it!

Na i would rather have a bike that is safe to be honest you gota think how easy it is to kill yourself on a bike only 1 mistake at 160 and things are lookin bleak so if i had a bike that was gona look after me then i would feel abit safer but its the rider at the end of the day.
for hard core unabliterated riding at good speeds it has to be the track dont it, but if i had an R1 i dont think i could only contain it to track days, some scary stuff.

I think I've maxed out every bike I've ever had, and I can't see that changing.
Part of me wants to move to a 1000cc+ bike.
It's not the sensible part, though.

When I first looked for a 400 after doing my test, the babyblade was my second of choice after the RVF400 (which I couldn;t afford), but then I saw the blue ZXR with the black frame (not knowing they existed in the first place) and thought "Gorgeous" Ooh, upside-down forsks, ooh, freaky little hoover pipes, ooh, that insurance is cheaper than the hondas. Ooh, how's that powerband!!
So I got it and had all sorts of problems with my 10 year old ZXR400, but I got it sorted out good and proper in time.
So yeah, I can see why she did it, but she should have persevered.

Congrats on the new bike, they seem to be really nice bikes. I had a really good dice with one in the 450 Superbike race last weekend. They seem to go pretty good. I think my zxr has a little more top end but its a honda so it will run forever if you change the oil every 10K-20K miles. I know what you're saying about setting up the zxr, I've been sorting mine for over a year now & still have a long way to go. Good luck with it.
