only 15?
my local tescos (toton, notts) has probably parent/child spaces. it's probably 50m from the door to the nearest normal space. slight overkill - they're usually mostly empty.
but it's not like pushing a trolley 50m is the worlds hardest task, so doesn't bother me.
never noticed any bike parking, but if i go to supermarkets on the bike I tend to just park on the pedestrian bit in front of the building (considerately and out of the way of course). never had any complaints.

At my local tesco (seacroft Leeds) people know not to abuse disabled parking spaces or the like.
because one inconsiderate giraffe who wasnt disabled decided to push in front of someone who had a disabled child in a wheelchair to get the disabled space even though there were plenty of normal spaces just yards away.
That person ended up having his car heavilly shrink wrapped.
I think i have the photo on my old phone, will post it if i find it
so thats the solution to this parking problem, cling film but industrial shrink wrap is better

exactly. so long as you aren't a tit about it (ie you don't park ACROSS the doors) it's usually fine

Not at this place!
I've actually been called back by security before and told to move my bike!
They made the bike spaces so that people don't do that!
Which makes it even more of a pisser to find cars parked in them! :smt013

In bournemouth Tesco, there is a space nearest the entrance for motorcycles. With bollards across so cars can't fi tin there. Doesn't stop them stopping on the double yellow lines in front of the bike spaces though. That's when the scrapes appear on their car, from my footpegs as I reverse the bike out of the space. (the only good use for pillion footpegs I say.)
The most angry person ever was a white van man. He actually got out and tried pulling me off the bike, and I kicked him in the nuts.

Gillian Adams for Tescos wrote:Further to your enquiry,
I can confirm we do not normally have a reserve for motor cycles, as it is parking spaces for use by either vehicle i.e car/motor bike/or other conveyances. As they are all customers who require parking facilities.
I hope this information helps further with your enquiry.

The problem with parking in car spaces (especially between 2 other cars) is that other car drivers won't be expecting a bike to be there until their retarded ass runs your bike over...
How come Tesco's didn't address the issue of cars parking in the places marked for motorcycle parking???
