i have an acumen cat1 fitted to my bike mate its fairly good if you move the bike it goes off, Alternatively fit a small switch goin from the battery to the starter motor so its hidden that way they wont be able to start it anyway unless they know where it is. i done it to my first car hid the switch behind the ashtray.

Its no good either way but to be honest i would be more fecked off by the fact that they were riding round my bike i would sooner burn it out rather than let some thief even ride it for 5 minutes

I reckon you should go for the astrodon alarm. It says stuff when you get near the bike like ""step away from the vehicle"
Really gash, but it'll wake you up at night when someone goes near it. I only ever set mine at night. Not too expensive, and can fit them yourself.
Also had remote starter feature and immobiliser on it. And remote immobiliser in case of
ing. Yeah, right, like that woud happen.

how do them remote starts work if its in gear?

presumably the same as pushing the starter button, so if you have a clutch lever switch it wont start, and if you dont it will fall over!

exactly what i thought that could be a bit dodgy as my loom consists of about 6 wires max.

i would have thought you could find a way of wiring it to the neutral light so it wouldn't start in gear.

well presumably the gixxer motor has a sensor for a neutral light, even if you don't have a light fitted. it's probably made easier if you don't need to drive the light as well.
