I've got Harris stands and I've seen the Abba stand in action both are excellent and "fit" perfectly

You can change the end from flat (front) to hook (rear w/ bobbins)

but for any bike the very best stands are the ABBA ones

I use oxford rear paddock stands with a flat pad style instead of the hook and locate the pad under the rear swing arm

Sooo... I bought an Abba stand after a lot of people including some of you guys recommended it. It seems like a really good idea, different design altogether compared to most other stands and good quality as far as I can tell. Problem is that after receiving the stand today I can't see how the fitting kit fits to the bike. Am I just being stupid (very possible) or have they sent me the wrong fitting kit?

Here's a picture of the bike (which I think is completely standard)- And a picture of the fitting kit (Small end supposedly goes either in the swing-arm pivot hole or over the bolt head)-

Ok nevermind! I contacted Abba and they said that they have multiple fitting kits for the ZXR400 even within the same year and they have indeed sent me the wrong one. On the plus side their customer service is pretty good getting back to me so quickly and they've now sent out the right kit.

Rear is a cheap affair - front is a ratchet strap.
