Robert Cairns had a blow up too. He says dropped valve. He's not touched his engine in 2 season racing and who knows what went on before he bought it

I think hes going to buy a complete road bike from me to use as a spares kit

That rain for the Senior Support was horrible................amazed to finish 12th.

Equally amazed to lap at 3.40 on the 400.

And yes a sad day for one family.

Yeh, I couldn't believe the news when I was checking the results on Twitter about Noels passing. Sad news and really feel for the family.

I was moping about moaning about a 400 engine and a bolloxed van wishing I'd just stuck the Triumph in to the open class as well as the SS6 and Senior and there's the poor lad lost his life. Really puts things in to perspective.

Would like to get back over for Bush, (never been there before) but definitely over for Armoy, possibly Dundrod too. Cargo 3:40’s my pb on a 400 round Tandragee too, had aspirations to beat that but…. that’s racing.

Bush Road Races

some footage http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT-fBVhA3uw

the only cheek clenching part is around 1.15 after the big tree and with new resurfacing it is fine now. Used to be dips and hollows throwing the bike about there.

most of the road is resurfaced so not as rough and the man-hole covers are shown with white marks. You dont need to go over them anyway.

1.40 - 2.10 Yes the road is really narrow - the width of a large van but at least it opens out.

3.22 couple of nice wee jumps

Was good to finally meet Des,hope get engine sorted?
Cargo, no Ben this year,is he ok?
Back out at Skerries then Southern as work clashes with Bush & Kells.
Take it safe if at these and hope to see you all soon.

Ben is fine.
I think he's concentrating on racing at home this year.
No Skerries or Bush for me. I might be at Waldershare.

Hi Stuart, aye engine sorted. Crank had gone but thanks to Roger M it's all sorted. Just put the bike back together last night.

Possibly a Saturday in July at East Fortune just to make sure everything's running fine then back over for Armoy and hopefully Dundrod/UGP.

Cheers
Derek
