Had that aswell! My bike ran out of juice, the guy in the van next to me had aswell, he was struggling to get his jump pack on so I gave him a hand, he said thanks, let me try it, didn't work so gave me a lift home as I was only 2 miles from home, guy had a bike himself, why was I not suprised...

I'm now taking it a step further, when on four wheels I am now sticking my head out the window and nodding to every car I pass, excluding people carriers, also whilst in the warm joy of four wheels I totally ignore all bikers.

and I was nodding to everyone yesterday, I was in a good mood. Why? IM BACK BABY DOLLS! Passed my MOT yesterday, no advisories, mechanic called me in and told me to feel the front wheel as the head bearing were tight but didn't even put it on the sheet

I nod at absolutely everything on 2 wheels, however I find only a lowly 20% of L platers seem to nod back at best. I also give all the ambulance crews an over exaggerated nod out off appreciation, for anyone of us who might be unfortunate enough to ever need their services.

thats a new take on it, nodding at ambulance crews, but your right, we're seen as "donor bikes" to them (quote from a high level cardiologist whose house we were working in) and they spend their lives making sure that if worst comes to worst that we survive. respect to you for that

Nodding at ambulances is a good idea, I think I'll nod to plod too, you never know, may save on a few points someday

well we were robbing him... but that's because the guy I was working for is a plumber! and I always nod at the police bikers, next to me they're putting up a couple of wind turbines and had to have the police out as the lorries were so big! as we were waiting I saw a police biker and nodded at him and he came over, had a laugh about the weather and i ended up chatting to him, turns out he's the guy that runs our bikesafe course
