You'll be grand Stuart - Cookstown is fairly straight forward and not very long.

Tandragee is much longer and does require a lot concentration tho.

After a successful track day on Friday, running the engine in, I can't wait, and its not long now.

Good to catch up with you guys at the races.

The weather on Saturday made up for the "4 seasons" in one day on Friday.

Hi Stuart, how did you like Tandragee? Bit different than Cookstown isn't it

I have to say that during practice I just couldn't get on with Tandragee but then I followed Yvonne and saw how the corners linked up which was great.

The race day was totally different, it felt like some of the corners had been straightened over night and I had a great time.

Have to say I prefer Tandragee over Cookstown now, just a shame my 400 went pop, looks like the crank, but not been that far into it yet.

Only 6 weeks and off to Cork.

I said I would only do selected ones next year as can't afford to do this every year, but all being well will be there for Cookstown and Tandragee as loved both of them.

Sorry I didn't get to meet you Des, hopefully sometime during the year.

Funny you should say that about Cookstown Vs Tandragee. Last year was my first year at Tandragee and I hated it; just couldn't get to grips with it at all but this year loved it and now probably my favourite circuit. Can't wait to get back and try and improve on time.

Should be heading back over for Armoy (close second to Tandragee) and Mid Antrim (never done before).

Glad you enjoyed it.

I had my entry for Armoy accepted so all being well will be there, so look forward to seeing that circuit.

As with all racing - the weather makes a big difference.

The dry weather on Saturday at Tandragee and Cookstown made a big difference. With dry roads you get a better feeling and confidence on the different surfaces - smooth tar - new tarmac, etc.

I almost didnt get going in the 400 race as the bike was so hot coming back after the warm up laps I had to switch it off as the other groups were still sorting themselves out. When the first group was about to go I tried to start it and yes it wasnt having any. The battery had been charged in the morning and eventually it did fire just as the group before ours got the Lights. There were other bikes very hot on the grid and another rider had to pull his off amid masses of steam.


Yes I intend doing Armoy but will need to wait until the end of the month before getting entries in, besides the entries close in July so time enough.



BTW - any ideas on diffs going down the box into 3rd? At least theres a few weeks to hoke about and check a few other things too.
