Hi .
Thanks for the answers
I will give it a try, cleaning them and check the drain screw.
No, i haven't checked the valve clearances.
I have seen a few "learning" videos on youtube, how to do it, but i dont understand how to adjust them.
And if the clearences are wrong i need something called shims, to adjust them ?
where can i get shims, and how do i know what size i need?

Once you've measured the gap between the cam lobe and rocker arm with your feeler gauge, at the correct engine position, you need to check if it is within the tolerance stated in the manual.
If the gap is too big then you need a 'big' shim to bring it back in tolerance and if its too small you need a small shim too bring it into tolerance
Once you know the sizes you need then you should be able to get the shims you need from a local bike shop or the internet.
Moriman did a fantastic valve clearance guide which I think is in the Know Your Stuff section. Give it a read and all will become clear

That is not running right at all. And that ticking to me sounds either the exhaust has a small hole in it or the insulation on the ht lead has broken down and is shorting with the engine/frame which would be consistent with it sounding/running as bad as it does.
Get it running and check along the ht leads naking sure there arent sparks jumping to the frame/engine and that the caps are pushed all the way down.

What is HT lead ?
the wirering ? Electrical stuff?
But do you mean the wires to the sparkplugs? from the coil?
Or all the electrical wires? because on this bike it is a MESS !
I dont even know where to fit turn signals

High tension lead or HT wires are the wires that come from the coils to the spark plugs.
If the electrics are a mess you would prob be best having a look at the wiring diagram on the zxrworld.co.uk site and double check everything is where it should be

Thanks for sorting that out for me
The HT's, how do i know if it is wrong / broken ?
I have 2 coils, with 2 ht connection on each.
And it says with 1 - 4 where it should go, but i can see that it is homemade.
If it is wrong connected, could it be the problem ?
And if it is, how do i fix it ?

Check that the ht leads connections are good, no water or toad on the ends, then start the bike and watch to see if there's any sparks where there shouldn't be, this happened to me, where the lead connected to the coil the connector was starting to come undone and my bike ran like toad
